PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of suppressing degradation of a reactor and temperature rise. SOLUTION: An air distribution circuit 5 composed of a fan (not shown in drawing) and a fan motor (not shown in drawing), and a machine chamber 8 receiving refrigerating cycle components such as a compressor (not shown in drawing) are disposed on a base 2 in a state of being partitioned by a partitioning plate 3, a reactor table 10 loading the reactor 9 is disposed at one corner formed by the base 2 at an air distribution circuit 5 side and the partitioning plate 3, an opening 3a for communicating a space 12 formed by the reactor table 10 and the base 2, and the machine chamber 8 is formed on the partitioning plate 3, and a reactor cover 13 covering the reactor 9 is disposed on the reactor table 10, thus the reactor 9 can be surely received and fixed to the base 2 through the reactor table 10, the reactor 9 is cooled by the cooling air passing just under the reactor table 10, and further deterioration of the reactor 9 can be prevented as the cooling air including moisture is not directly kept into contact with a surface of the reactor 9 as the reactor 9 is completely covered by the reactor cover 13.
