PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electronic sensor and a control board for controlling opening/closing of a water supply unit from being wetted by the water scattering from the water supply unit. SOLUTION: In this cell type ice making machine comprising an ice tray 1, the water supply unit 2 disposed at a lower part of the ice tray 1 oscillatably in the vertical direction and closing the ice tray 1, and the control board 8 equipped with magnetic sensors 11a, 11b for controlling the opening/closing the water supply unit 2, the control board 8 is disposed at a back face side of a gear box 6 oscillating the water supply unit 2 when observed from the water supply unit 2. As the control board 8 is disposed at the back face side of the gear box 6, the water scattering from the water supply unit 2 can be prevented from reaching the electronic sensors such as the magnetic sensors 11a, 11b and the control board 8. Thus the stable operation of the ice making machine can be expected as malfunction and failure caused by wetting by the water, of the electronic sensor and the like can be prevented.
