A television system and a remote controller are provided to make preference information, which shows a channel who a user frequently views, used in all television receivers. A television tuner unit(10c) digitalizes television signals of a plurality of channels into television signals of a target channel which a user will view. A network interface(10d) transmits/receives data to/from other computers. A serial interface unit(10e) transmits/receives data to/from an external device. A storage unit(10f) records the various programs and data on a disk medium. According to a program within a storage unit, a CPU(10g) performs a processing task. |
