<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink for inkjet recording having excellent glossiness and stability with time and slight change in glossiness when printed on special paper and a water dispersion to be added to the same. <P>SOLUTION: The water dispersion for inkjet recording includes a colorant, a polymer particle, one or more kinds of water-insoluble organic compounds selected from the group consisting of an ester compound, an ether compound and a sulfonic acid amide compound (except a fatty acid derivative) and an alkanepolyol.
