PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus capable of determining the sound pressure of ultrasonic waves to be emitted in the consideration of the sound pressure distribution of ultrasonic waves inside a subject. SOLUTION: An MI value distribution function 62 or a monochrome gradation scale 63 is arranged side by side with tomographic image information 41 or piled up and displayed at a display part 106. Thus, an operator recognizes an area where the sound pressure becomes the destruction sound pressure of a contrast medium in an imaging area before imaging, and further by resetting a scan parameter value, an area where the contrast medium is to be destroyed is matched with a position where the contrast medium is to be depicted in the imaging area, and sure contrast medium destruction without errors is efficiently performed.
