PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prevent VOC gas from being ejected to the outside of an image forming apparatus by combining the performance improvement of a catalyst filter 31 with the performance holding of an adsorption filter 33 in an image forming apparatus eliminating VOC using the catalyst filter 31 and the adsorption filter 33. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a means for forming air flow (a) flowing from a circumference part of an image heating means B to an exhaust port part 102; the catalyst filter 31 arranged at or in proximity to the image heating means B on a path of the air flow (a) to decompose a volatile organic compound in the air of the air flow (a); and the adsorption filter 33 arranged in a position spaced from the image heating means B on the path of the air flow (a) and downstream of air flow from the catalyst filter 31 to adsorb the volatile organic compound in the air of the air flow.
