A method for offering information in heterogeneous IP network environments is provided to establish a synchronization port between a service server using a public IP address and a terminal using a private IP address, and transmit a synchronization packet according to the synchronizing frequency. An IP address is obtained during the system booting(201). A communication port request packet in which the obtained IP address is included is transmitted to a service server. A communication port is allocated from the service server(202). The synchronizing frequency is provided through the allocated communication port(203). The synchronous packet is transmitted to the service server according to the provided synchronizing frequency(204).
