An apparatus for controlling a voltage of an inverter is provided to control an output voltage of a three-phase inverter or a single-phase inverter by removing a steady state error due to a phase delay. A comparator(130) outputs an error between a detecting voltage and a reference voltage. A sine and cosine signal generating part(141) generates a sine signal and a cosine signal. A sine signal error correcting part(150) extracts a sine signal in an error by using the sine signal. The sine signal error correcting part corrects the error by performing a proportional integration of the extracted sine signal. A cosine signal error correcting part(160) extracts a cosine signal in an error by using the cosine signal. The cosine signal error correcting part corrects the error by performing a proportional integration of the extracted cosine signal. An adder(170) adds an output signal of the sine signal error correcting part to an output signal of the cosine signal error correcting part. A pulse generating part(180) compares the added signal with a triangle wave, and generates a pulse for controlling an output voltage of an inverter part(103).
