PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus capable of reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A recessed portion 44 storing a display unit 40 is formed integrally with the display installation surface of an outer case main body 12. The display unit 40 is stored in the recessed portion 44 and the recessed portion 44 is covered by a decorative laminate 50, so that the display unit 40 is held between the bottom surface of the recessed portion 44 and the decorative laminate 50, to be assembled in the outer case main body 12.
