PURPOSE: A plasma display device is provided to achieve improved reliability of product by improving thermal conductivity, while preventing damage of the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display device comprises a plasma display panel; a chassis base disposed substantially parallel to the plasma display panel; and a thermal conducting medium(24) interposed between the plasma display panel and the chassis base in such a manner that the thermal conducting medium tightly contacts the plasma display panel and the chassis base. The thermal conducting medium includes a plurality of protrusions(24a) formed at the surface thereof opposed to the plasma display panel or the chassis base; and a plurality of space portions(24b) disposed between the protrusions, and which permit the air existing between the thermal conducting medium and the surfaces of the plasma display panel and the chassis base attached to the thermal conducting medium to be evacuated to the outside when the thermal conducting medium is attached to the plasma display panel and the chassis base. The protrusions have a plurality of holes(30). |
