PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly form a correcting pattern. SOLUTION: This liquid discharging device is equipped with a discharging part 41, an upstream side conveying roller 23 locating on an upstream side in a conveying direction and a downstream side conveying roller 25 locating on its downstream side, a supporting member which is provided between the upstream side conveying roller 23 and the downstream side conveying roller 25 in the conveying direction and has supporting members 246, 247 and 248 for supporting a medium having recesses 242 and 243 for receiving liquid discharged from the discharging part and non-recessed parts for supporting the medium and a control part which forms a correcting pattern for correcting a target conveying amount during the conveying of the medium with the downstream side conveying roller 25 after the upstream side end in the conveying direction of the medium passes through the upstream side conveying roller 23 on the medium under the condition that the control part forms the correcting pattern in a state that the upstream side of the medium is located on the non-recessed part.
