The brick or plate (1) has a graduated millimeter scale (4) on sides (2) or on longitudinal smooth or plane bands (3) of the brick or plate. The bands define grooved spaces (6) of the brick. The scale is realized by remarking half centimeter and centimeter and a symmetrical central point for facilitating the verification of measurements towards both sides of the brick. The scale is cut by low-relief, high-relief or screen process with a facultative number device.
