<p>A pneumatic tire having appropriately constructed reinforcement layers. The construction prevents separation between a carcass and rubber and also prevents pull-out of the carcass from a bead section to increase durability of the bead section. The pneumatic tire has a pair of bead sections (1) in which bead cores (2) are embedded, a pair of side walls extending outward from the bead sections (1) in the radial direction of the tire, and a carcass (5) constructed from body sections (3) and folded back sections (4), the body sections (3) toroidally extending in each portion of the tread that extends straddling both side walls, the folded back sections (4) extending from the body sections (3) and folded back around the bead cores (2) from the inner sides in the lateral direction of the tire toward the outer sides. Also, at least two reinforcement layers (8) are arranged along the inner surfaces of the carcass (5), on the inner side, in the lateral direction of the tire, of the bead cores (2). The reinforcement layers (8) are formed by covering cords (7) with rubber, and the cords (7) extend in the substantially circumferential direction of the tire.</p> |
