A portable terminal is provided to improve the physical and chemical resistance for the external environment of a cover. A cover(141) forms the external shape of a portable terminal, and a color layer(142) is formed at an external plane of a cover to realize the colors of the portable terminal. The color layers is formed by laminating plural oxides that have different indexes of reflection, and a protection layer(143) protects the color layer and the cover from the external environment.
