PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the dynamic range of an A/D converter cannot be utilized effectively because of a large value of fixed-pattern noise to the change of an output signal caused by the temperature change of a subject, quantizing noise is increased, image quality is deteriorated and imaging cannot be performed efficiently because processing is required for updating the fixed-pattern noise in an infrared image sensing device. SOLUTION: A video signal (S) obtained by subtracting (4) an analog video signal (O) 1-frame delayed from an image sensing signal (IN) is digital-converted (6), and a frame-delayed (9) digital video signal (FPN) is added (7). The start and end timing of acquiring the fixed-pattern noise (FPN) is detected (13) on the basis of the digital video signal (AD).
