SIMPLIFIED ONE-SIDED SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY EVALUATING MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS

A simple one-way ultrasonic wave property evaluation automating system is provided to use a stepping motor, thereby measuring ultrasonic amplitudes at a random point as rotating 360 degrees at 0.9-degree intervals. Transmitting/receiving transducers(20a,20b) oscillate and receive ultrasonic waves by being installed on top of a property evaluating working target. A pulse/receiver controls oscillation of predetermined ultrasonic waves through the transducers. The pulse/receiver receives ultrasonic waves reflected from the working target. A rotative moving unit(30) mounts the transducers to stepwise rotate the transducers by a motor. A motor driver(40) drives the motor of the rotative moving unit. An A/D board(60) converts an analog signal of the pulse/receiver into digital data. An automatic analysis controlling device controls oscillation of the ultrasonic waves at every rotative position.
