PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box for storing an article therein which is capable of enhancing the waterproofness. SOLUTION: The packing box 100 has square side surface parts 20 and 30 respectively hanging from an edge of each ridge of a square bottom surface part 10. The side surface parts 20 and 30 respectively have plates 21 and 31 selected from a group consisting of a thermoplastic resin-made hollow structural plate and a synthetic resin-made sheet, and wooden beams 22 and 32 which are fitted to an edge of each ridge of the plates 21 and 31 by a predetermined member and joined therewith.
