<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female terminal fitting for a base board, which can enhance contact stability as well as carry out highly accurate dimension management to a contact part in contact with a male terminal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: The female terminal fitting for base board 1 is provided forming a bottom plate 2 in a flat shape and extending toward a direction of a terminal center axis being as a front-back direction, and forming a part of the bottom plate 2 as a first stress relaxation structure part 9 that can elastically deform in an up-down direction. And also, sidewalls 6, 7 are continuously erected on side parts of a right-left direction of the bottom plate 2, and a band-like coupling part 14 for coupling a base board connection part 13 in a state to be in parallel to the terminal center axis and positioned more inward than the sidewall 7 on a back end 10 of the sidewall 7 is formed.
