<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst-coated body which is provided with a photocatalyst layer having high transparency, and exhibiting excellent weatherability and ability to decompose a harmful gas, and other desired properties (ultraviolet absorption, film strength, etc.) while preventing a substrate from eroding, and a photocatalytic coating liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst-coated body comprises a substrate and a photocatalyst layer provided on the substrate. The photocatalyst layer contains photocatalyst particles of ≥5 parts by mass and ≤15 parts by mass, having an average particle diameter of ≥10 nm and ≤100 nm inorganic oxide particles of >75 parts by mass and ≤95 parts by mass, and a dry matter of hydrolyzable silicone of ≥0 parts by mass and <10 parts by mass calculated as silica so that the total amount of the photocatalyst particles, the inorganic oxide particles and the hydrolyzable silicone is 100 parts by mass calculated as silica.
