APPARATUS FOR VULCANIZATION AND MOULDING OF TYRES AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

The present invention discloses a vulcanisation and moulding apparatus (1) for tyres and a method of 5 manufacturing the same. The apparatus (1) comprises containment walls (4a, 10) defining an inner surface (11) delimiting a moulding cavity (2). The shape of the inner surface (11) matches the final conformation to be given to the vulcanised tyre and comprises a plurality 0 of lamellae (13). Each lamella (13) comprises at least one lug (15) inserted in a respective seat (16) formed in the inner surface (11) and opening on the inner surface (11) itself. The lug (15) and the respective seat (16), along an insertion direction (X-X) of the 5 lamella (13) into the seat (16), are at least partly misaligned relative to the work portion (14). The work portion (14) of the lamella (13) further comprises at least one abutment surface (17) bearing against the inner surface (11) of the moulding cavity (3). Said 0 seat (16) is closed with an addition material (19) by laser or TIG welding, so as to lock the lamella (13) in the moulding apparatus (1).
