PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape for packing allowing overlapped sticking and not hindering recyclability of a packing container. SOLUTION: The tape for packing comprises a base material, a mold release layer on one surface side of the base material, and an adhesive layer on the other surface side of the base material. The base material is formed of interply separation base paper having an easily peelable face parallel to the base material surface. In the interply separation base paper, preferably, a ratio of basis weight of the mold release layer side ply to that of the adhesive layer side ply is 1/1 to 3/1, the basis weight of the mold release layer side ply is 50-60 g/m<SP>2</SP>, the basis weight of the adhesive layer side ply is 20-50 g/m<SP>2</SP>.
