PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device capable of accurately deciding the service life of a roller. SOLUTION: The image heating device F is configured to heat and press-hold a recording material S, with a toner image formed thereon by the surface of a fixing roller R1 and the surface of a pressure roller R2, and then, fuse and fix the image on the recording material S, wherein the life of the fixing roller R1 is decided, based on the surface temperature T1 of the fixing roller R1, having an aluminum core bar 1 and the core bar temperature T2 of the aluminum core bar 1.
