COLORED POWDER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide colored powder having excellent coloring power and excellent aggregation resistance and a method for producing the powder. SOLUTION: The colored powder comprises colored particles containing one kind of polymer and a metal oxide. Not less than 70 number% of the colored particle is a colored particle (P) satisfying the condition P or colored particle (Q) satisfying the condition Q, and the colored powder contains 5-35 number% colored particle (P) and ≥60 number% colored particle (Q). Condition P: the occupied area ratio of the metal oxide existing in the area S1near the surface of the cross-section to the metal oxide existing in the inner area S2surrounded by the area S1near the surface is ≥65 areal% and ≤100 areal%, and condition Q: the occupied area ratio is ≥30 areal% and <65 areal%. In the conditions P and Q, SA1is the total occupied area of individual metal oxide in the area S1near the surface, and SA2is the total occupied area of individual metal oxide in the inner area S2.
