PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical seal with a discharge mechanism which improves confirmation workability of a discharge situation by grasping a drain situation of an unnecessary material such as wear debris and a leakage fluid, even in discharging other than from a storage part, and preferably even in discharging to a derivation path. SOLUTION: The mechanical seal A with the discharge mechanism comprises: the derivation path 20 for discharging the wear debris and the leakage fluid generated in a mechanical seal part 3 consisting of a rotary side seal wheel 5 integrally rotating with a rotary shaft 1, a stationary side seal wheel 6 relatively fixed to a casing 2, and an elastic means 7 for forcing those sliding surfaces 5a and 6a to push each other outside of the casing 2; and the storage part 21 following the derivation path 20. The storage part 21 of the discharge mechanism 4 includes: a fluororesin tube 22 communicated with and connected to the derivation path 20; and blocking means H for blocking the tip end part of the tube.
