PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an inspection hole at a furnace wall capable of eliminating the need for pressure-withstanding part welding, and eliminating the need for the installation of an in-furnace scaffold. SOLUTION: A membrane bar 3 of a boiler water wall is cut and removed to form the inspection hole 1a, a filler plate 4 provided from a boiler furnace exterior side is mounted to a periphery of the inspection hole 1a, and an inspection hole frame 2 is mounted on the filler plate 4 to form an inspection hole opening 1 for monitoring the inside of a boiler.
