<p>The method involves shifting postal items (S1-S8) from a clearance module (14) into a transmission flow to change clearance between the postal items. The postal item (S1) in a transmission block (30) is shifted into the transmission flow depending on clearance between the postal items (S2-S8) of the transmission block. The postal item (S1) non-shiftably passes through the clearance module when the clearances in the transmission block are large as that of a minimum clearance (Imin) and when the clearances are adjustable by adjusting the postal items to the minimum clearance. An independent claim is also included for a device for transporting flat postal item in a transmission flow of a transport path.</p> |
