A light guide structure that excels in heat resistance, exhibiting low water absorption, and that realizes a reduction of material cost. There is provided a light guide structure comprising a light guide including a core layer, the core layer including a core part and a cladding layer of refractive index lower than that of the core part, and cladding layers of refractive index lower than that of the core part, superimposed on both major surfaces of the core layer in contact therewith, and comprising conductive layers superimposed on both major surfaces of the light guide, wherein each of the cladding layers is composed of a norbornene polymer as a main material. It is preferred that the norbornene polymer be composed mainly of one of the chemical formula: (1) wherein R is a C1-C10 alkyl; a is an integer of 0 to 3; b is an integer of 1 to 3; and p/q is 20 or less.
