A method and a device for generating moving motion of a digital creature are provided to prevent workability and motion of operation from dropping when animation creating work is manually performed. Motion of a creature put on a bottom side, in which a pattern is printed, is captured(S202). Information for a body, a leg pose, and a footprint of the creature is extracted(S206). The motion of the creature is created by applying inverse kinematics to the body, leg pose, and footprint information of the creature(S208).
