A driving device is provided to efficiently drive a moving unit equipped with an imaging device of a camera by detecting a bouncing direction of a moving unit. A fixed unit(30b) is provided within a moving range of a moving unit(30a). A driving unit operates the moving unit to a first direction of the fixed unit. A direction detector detects a bouncing direction of the moving unit after the operating part collides with the fixed unit. The driving unit makes the moving unit collided with the fixed unit by driving the moving unit to the bouncing direction.
