A method and a system for duty cycling of network devices on the total treatment quantity of the network device by using power down or slow down are provided to perform the duty cycling of data process by determining the limit of total data and entering to the network devices at predetermined interval. A system comprises one or more circuits at network devices(1141-114N). The limit about total data in and out of the network device for the predetermined time interval is determined circuits. The duty cycle of total data is performed based on limitation. The part of one or more component among the network devices or components is circuits for a part among the time interval with the power down and/or the slow down.
