FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in electric machines for converting energy, which generate alternating current at fixed frequency and stable output voltage. The generator set contains a static driving generator, electric machine power generator, circuit for controlling excitation of the power generator, connected by a voltage feedback circuit with the driving generator. The output of the driving generator is connected to a polarity detector. The output of the power generator is connected to a controlled bidirectional thyristor rectifier. The output of the polarity detector is connected to the control input of the thyristor rectifier. In each half-cycle, the half-wave of the output voltage of the driving generator determines the beginning and end of forming the pulse of output voltage of the generator set. The shape and amplitude of the output voltage pulse is a result of summation of half-waves of rectified output voltage of the power generator, working at frequencies, exceeding nominal frequency by 3-12 times. Increase of frequency of the power generator to 150Ç600 Hz relative the output frequency of the generator set provides for output voltage of the required quality when speed of rotation of the driving shaft of the power generator changes within given frequency limits, and when frequency of the driving generator changes in the 0.1Ç50 Hz range. ^ EFFECT: reduced mass of the machine and improvement of energy characteristics of the generator set. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
