<p>It has been demanded to develop a medicinal agent for treating a disease characterized by increased HB-EGF level. Thus, disclosed is a monoclonal antibody capable of binding to an HB-EGF that is bound to a cell membrane, a membrane-anchored HB-EGF and a secreted HB-EGF or a fragment of the monoclonal antibody.</p>
