<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus that can quickly search image data desired by a user by switching and displaying text data corresponding to the image data to make the user to view the text data, and to provide a display control program. <P>SOLUTION: Image data to be displayed by text data 41c1 are successively switched in the order of image data numbers and the switching is continued. Since the display of the text data 41c1 can be quickly processed as compared with image display, text data 41c1 for many image data can be quickly viewed by a user. When the user instructs stop, a plurality of image data including image data to be displayed by the text data 41c1 displayed at the stop instruction and having continuous image data numbers are determined as image data to be displayed and a thumbnail string 41b expressing the plurality of image data is displayed.
