<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that performs an abnormality diagnosis of current sensors while achieving cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: When the total of three-phase AC currents Iu, Iv, and Iw is greater than a prescribed value, a sensor abnormality determination part 150 of a motor control unit 100 determines that any one of three current sensors Su, Sv, and Sw is abnormal on the basis of output from the three current sensors Su, Sv, and Sw that detect each three-phase AC current supplied from an inverter 50 to a three-phase AC motor 20.
