PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance for a surface treatment having a removable head which can easily, rotatably and electrically be connected with the main body of the electric appliance for the surface treatment, and is more compact than one having an already existing constitution. SOLUTION: This electric appliance (10) for the surface treatment has the main body (12), and the head (14) which is connected with the main body in a manner to be rotatable around an axis (Y-Y). The main body and the head are respectively equipped with first and second electric connectors (76 and 78). The first and second electric connectors can connect the main body with head so that an electric connection can be imparted, and one of the first and second electric connectors can move by sliding in a channel in the electric appliance for the surface treatment. By providing the electric connector, the use of a complicated and potentially uncertain means, e.g., the use of a slip ring is avoided, and in the meantime, the electric connection between the head and the main body is still possible.
