METHOD, SYSTEM, SERVER AND CLIENT FOR TRANSMITTING MEDIA STREAM DATA

A method, system, server and client for transmitting media stream data are provided. The method includes: dividing all clients in a conversation into a first conversation group and a second conversation group; retransmitting the received media stream data to the client in the first conversation group; sending the media stream data to the client in the second conversation group through the client in the first conversation group. The system includes a PoC server which comprises: dividing module which is used to divide all clients in a conversation into a first conversation group and a second conversation group; media data retransmitting module which is used to retransmit the received media stream data packet to the client in the first conversation group; client in the first conversation group which is used to receive the media stream data sent by the PoC server and retransmit them to the client in the second conversation group. The solution reduces the time taken by the PoC server to retransmit the media stream data packet, and lightens burdens of the PoC server.
