PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination sensor capable of detecting an abnormal state of the sensor. SOLUTION: The inclination sensor has a self-diagnostic circuit 75 detecting a mobile object located in a flat part in a state where an object is not tilted by increasing sensor sensitivity upon turning on power, and determining that the sensor is in an abnormal state when the mobile object is not detected.
