PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve straight traveling stability on braking, in a vehicle capable of controlling toe-in angles of right and left rear wheels, respectively. SOLUTION: The rear wheel toe-in angle control device 28 capable of controlling the toe angles of the right and left rear wheels 5 of an automobile 1, respectively, is provided with travelling state detection means 23, 24, 25 for detecting travelling states of the vehicle, an accelerator opening sensor 26 for detecting an accelerator opening and a target rear wheel toe-in angle setting part 32 for setting target toe-in angles of the right and left rear wheels to toe-in sides in the case that the automobile is detected to be in a straight travelling state by the travelling state detection means and the accelerator opening is decreasing at a change rate higher than a predetermined value. The rear wheel toe-in angle control device steers the rear wheels in a toe-in direction by appropriately estimating the braking of the automobile. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
