<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry system and a mobile device preventing a user from feeling unpleasant due to a shortened working distance when interference radio waves exist, while reducing cost and in its turn allowing the user's continuous comfortable use. <P>SOLUTION: When either one of lock/unlock buttons for a vehicle door or the like is pressed, if its pressing is within a mode time that specifies a special mode (S120: Yes), channel change information for instructing a change of a receiving channel to an on-vehicle apparatus is added to control information and an authentication code (S130) and transmitted (S140), and a transmitting channel of an own device is changed according to a predetermined sequence system (S150).
