<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer piezoelectric actuator element that can more drastically reduce the possibility of causing wire breaking or the like than heretofore when being drived at a high speed for a long period, and also improving durability without being upsized. <P>SOLUTION: On side faces on both sides of a laminate 5, a plurality of slits 6 are formed perpendicularly to the laminating direction, and side electrodes 7 and 8 are also formed. On surfaces of the side electrodes 7 and 8, a pair of external electrodes 11 and 12 are fixed through solder layers 9 and 10 interposed. The external electrodes 11 and 12 are formed of conductive members in a mesh shape. Over the slits of the external electrodes 11 and 12, extension portions 21 and 22 are provided which project from by the side electrodes 7 and 8 in a direction perpendicular to the laminating direction of the laminate 5 and are fixed to the side electrodes 7 and 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
