PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor actuator which retains an engagement state of a worm gear with a worm wheel, even if deflection is caused in a rotating shaft. SOLUTION: A regulating portion 52 provided in a case is constituted by a first regulating face 52a and a pair of second regulating faces 52b, 52c so that it surrounds the worm gear 41, in a dented manner at an opposite side of the worm wheel 44, wherein the first regulating face is positioned at the opposite side of the worm wheel 44 of the worm gear 41, and the second regulating faces are opposite to a direction of an axis M of the worm wheel 44. When deflection is caused in the rotating shaft (20), the regulating portion 52 regulates the movement of the worm gear 41 toward the opposite side of the worm wheel 44 by the first regulating face 52a, and regulates the movement of the worm gear 41, in a direction along the axis M of the worm wheel by each of the second regulating faces 52b, 52c, respectively, so that engagement of the worm gear 41 with the worm wheel 44 does not become disengaged.
