PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can obtain a highly precise image. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe 2 includes: a piezoelectric part 22 which includes a piezoelectric material and is capable of converting signals mutually between electric signals and ultrasonic signals by utilizing a piezoelectric phenomenon, a direct reception part which includes a piezoelectric material and converts the ultrasonic signals transmitted from the piezoelectric part 22 to the electric signals as direct reception signals by utilizing the piezoelectric phenomenon; and a signal processing part 14 which processes prescribed signals. The piezoelectric part 22 receives the ultrasonic signals transmitted from the piezoelectric part 22 and reflected by a subject and converts the received ultrasonic signals to the electric signals as reflected reception signals, and the signal processing part 14 processes the reflected reception signals on the basis of the direct reception signals.
