A safety door lock apparatus and an operation method thereof are provided to prevent a safety accident by locking a door in case users come out from a manufacturing facility. A safety door lock apparatus includes a key part(100) and a latch part(200). The key part is installed in one end of a door which is positioned inside an operating room in which a manufacturing facility is included. The latch part corresponds to the key part, and is installed in one end of a door frame. The door is converted to a locking state or an unlocking state by inputting a temporary password and entering people number in the key part.
