The seat has a bearing/connecting element (14) fixedly connected with a cross tube (10) and a seat shell (12) such that certain movement of the tube is reached relative to the element and to the shell. The element is formed as a U-shaped molding part with U-brackets (16, 18) and a U-bar (20), which form a retaining chamber (19) for retaining the tube. Connection units (22, 24) of the U-bracket are provided for fixed connection with the shell. A spring element is arranged at an inner side of the U-bar and loads the tube, if the element is attached on the tube and connected with the shell.
