<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a control for a paper post-treatment so as not to covey sheets of a next set to a treatment unit before discharging sheet bundles loaded on a sheet post-treatment unit even if a convey time period of the sheets conveyed from an image forming apparatus becomes short. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving paper with an image formed thereon as the sheets with a prescribed time interval and performing a post-treatment process prescribed in advance with processing time longer than the prescribed time interval to discharge the sheets as the sheet bundles at each set of a prescribed number of sheets, at least one sheet is evacuated once at each set, the sheets including the evacuated sheets are conveyed into the post-treatment process, and the post-treatment process is executed after conveying all sheets of each set. When shifting the conveyance for the post-treatment process from a current set to the next set, in the next set, the number of sheets to be evacuated in a first evacuation step is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
