A media identifying device, a media image processing method and a media identifying method using the same are provided to reduce a range of an identifying error of a paper money identifying device by improving an identifying rate of paper money. A media image is divided into one or more regions. A recorded media image is read while successively recording the divided media image to storage media(S210). The inputted media is sensed, and is divided into at least one or more regions. The divided image data is converted. The recorded data is read while the converted data is recorded to the storage unit. The read digital data is identified.
