<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and an image display method for preventing deterioration of image quality caused by misalignment of display position of sub-pixels constituting one pixel. <P>SOLUTION: This image display device for displaying images based on input image signals corresponding to the sub-pixels constituting one pixel includes a deviation amount storage part for storing the amount of misalignment of display positions of the sub-pixels by using the predetermined reference position in the displayed image as reference, an image signal correction part for correcting the inputted image signals in accordance with the amount of misalignment, and an image display part for displaying images based on the image signals corrected by the image signal correction part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
