<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for a reader-writer for which a communicable range with an RFID tag attached to merchandise on a merchandise shelf can be easily set according to the position of the RFID tag. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna for the reader-writer has a pair of first conductors 110a provided so as to face each other along the front-to-back direction of the merchandise shelf 11 and a set of second conductors (connection part 110b, movable connection part 110c) provided so as to face each other along the width direction of the merchandise shelf 11 and electrically connecting the respective first conductors 110a respectively.
