A hybrid type locking device is provided to maintain a locking state of a door by maintaining the locking state of a dead bolt lock regardless of an unlocking state of an electromagnetic lock in a power failure. A hybrid type locking device(114,115) is formed in a frame of a door. An armature plate(113) and a dead bolt latch(117) are formed in the door(111) by the other plate(112). A dead bolt lock has the structure to draw out and in the dead bolt by an electrical signal. An electromagnetic lock performs the locking/unlocking function through an external switch. A dead bolt lock performs the locking/unlocking function through the external switch. The electromagnetic lock and the dead bolt lock have opposite opening and closing structures. The locking state of the dead bolt lock is maintained in the unlocking state of the electromagnetic lock in a power failure.
