The invention relates to a dental implant which is used to support and secure prosthetic elements intended to replace original dental parts and which is especially suitable for situations involving aesthetic compromise and reduced available space owing to the presence of adjacent parts or the shape of the bone, essentially comprising a central threaded body (2) and a platform (1) having a diameter of between 3.1 and 3.5 mm and a conical exterior and interior, which platform extends into a threaded hole (4) in order to retain a pier (3) for joining same to the prosthesis.
